Barbera d' Alba "Bramé"
€ 14.00
In 1953, grandfather Carlo Deltetto took over his parents' farm and devoted himself to producing wine. In 1977 his son Antonio graduated as an oenologist and came to work for his father. In the meantime, a new generation (the son and daughters of Antonio) is running and expanding the domain. They produce the typical wines from the region, namely Nebbiolo, Barbera and Arneis, but in recent years they have also gained more and more recognition for their Metodo Classico sparkling wines made from Pinot Nero & Chardonnay.
Grape: 100% Barbera
Winemaking: Classic vinification in stainless steel and short passage on French oak.
Color: Almost purplish red
Nose and taste: a lively nose with lots of cherries, forest fruits, rose petals and fine roasted notes from the wood. On the palate, this barbera is lively, but not aggressive.
Serve with: Delicious all kinds of fine meat preparations, pastas and cheeses.
