The company of the Terenzi family is located in the south of Tuscany : Maremma. Due to the sandy soils, the Sangiovese (Morellino) here provides us with a totally different type of wines than in the rest of Tuscany. Also for white wines this is one of the better areas of Tuscany. The family has lived in France for a long time and experiments a lot with French varieties like Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Viognier.
Grape: 100% Sangiovese (Morellino) sourced from sand/clay soils.
Winemaking: Classic vinification and refining in stainless steel vats.
Color: Deep ruby red with purple hues.
Nose and taste: This wine has a playful nose with fresh red fruits, violets and sweet spices. On the palate, this wine is very juicy with soft tannins and lively acidity
Pour with: Ideal with charcuterie, red meats and young cheeses.
