Mainly Sangiovese with a little Merlot. "Ama" is the result of new plantings carried out systematically in the Chianti Classico DOCG vineyards. Since 2010 these young vines started to deliver important new returns, but in order not to change the character of the Castello di Ama Chianti Classico Riserva, it was decided to market a new Chianti under the name "Ama".
Vivid red color with dark red highlights. In this wine you will find the classic elegance that one can expect from an Ama Chianti Classico: ripe red berries are nicely integrated with subtle herbal notes.
