Gavi di Gavi La Caplana
€ 11.50
La Soraia is the family business of Guido Natalino, located in the village of Bosio. The high-altitude vineyards produce the Cortese grapes that are used for the historic Gavi. The wines are characterized by the old calming clay in the soil. This soil gives the wines their distinct character and complexity.
Grape: 100% Cortese from an old vineyard in the commune of Gavi. The soil here consists of snow-white, calcareous clay.
Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by hand. After a gentle pressing, a classic vinification in stainless steel follows at low temperature. The wine refines for several months in stainless steel in the presence of the "groin"
View: Crystal clear, with light green hues.
Nose: A fresh nose with lots of citrus and white fruit, complemented by aromas of white blossoms. This wine has a fresh mineral touch that is typical of the Gavi wines.
Mouth: An elegant yet powerful wine that has everything to charm: lots of fruit, fresh acidity and a slightly mineral aftertaste.
