100% Blaufränkisch from the oldest Goldberg vineyards, with vines older than 60 years. 12 months barrel aging on 1, 2 and 3 year old barrels. The grapes used for this wine undergo a rigorous selection beforehand: only the best are good enough to serve as the basis for this pearl of a red wine. Fruity aromas with hints of cherry are so typical of this variety. A full-bodied, well-structured wine, where the tannins are fused into a velvety content in which the typical cherry reappears. This Blaufränkisch excels in purity, charm and refinement. Fits a wide range of dishes, but more particularly offers good support for spicy dishes.
