La Campagnola has been run by the Campagnola family for 4 generations. It was great-grandfather Carlo who founded the winery in 1886 and today Luigi & amp; Guiseppe heads this thriving company. This house has a wonderful range of typical wines from the region.
Grape: Corvina, Rondinella & amp; Molinara
Winemaking: A selection of grapes are placed to dry for five months on straw mats in a well-ventilated place: “l'appassimento” and only then gently pressed. The wine is aged for 3 years, partly (70%) in large oak barrels, partly (30%) in barriques. He rests a bit in the bottle for about 10 months.
Taste: A complex and lively bouquet, in which the perfumes of ripe amarenas, cinnamon and husks of nuts and chestnuts can be recognized. A tasty, warm wine with a very balanced structure.
Serve with: Just like real meditation wine, but also delicious with old cheeses, roasted or fried red meat and duck.
Storage potential: This beautiful wine has a very good storage potential.
